Nicolas Party is a visual artist based in Glasgow. He grew up, studied and worked as an artist in Lausanne, Switzerland, before moving to Glasgow to take the Master of Fine Art course at the Glasgow School of Art. Nicola’s activity ranges from an individual painting and drawing practice to a collective based artistic activity, as well as independent exhibition’s organisation.

Nicolas Party’s recent exhibitions include, ‘Teapots and Sausages,’ Intermedia Glasgow and ‘Teapots, Bread and Sausages,’ La Placette, Lausanne, both 2010. Group shows include ‘Kiss of death,’ Glue Factory and « Interference with Twigs » Mary Mary both in Glasgow. Party recently completed a residency at Studio Voltaire, London and was selected as part of the New Work Scotland programme at Collective Gallery, Edinburgh. Party also works in the collaborative group, Blakam and curates the exhibition project, Sweet Geranium.
